Our goal is for participants to feel equipped to share the gospel story with others and act on their commitment to Jesus Christ by serving others.
With programs designed for junior high students, senior high students, and college students, Student Ministry at StoneBridge involves
• inviting students into the adventure of discipleship
• helping students to make the right connections
• treating students as gifted and growing
• seeing parents as partners
• investing in students with our time, attention and resources.
We are also eager to work closely with parents to learn how we can help them help their teens know God better, love God more, and become the people God created them to be.

The StoneBridge Junior High Group offers a variety of events and programs designed to assist seekers in finding God and community, believers in growing deeper in faith, and equipping committed disciples to share their faith and serve others.
Recognizing that not everyone's the same, the Junior High Group offers a choice of entry points.
If you’re a first time visitor, we encourage you to check out those types of events that you would feel most comfortable attending. Also, if you call ahead and let the youth department know you’re coming, we’ll be there to greet you and make sure you feel welcome.
Sunday’s Cool begins at 9am with announcements and a time of worship and prayer in which junior and senior high students all participate. Then students listen to a relevant Biblical lesson applied the specifics of teenage life. Students then have the opportunity to discuss the lesson in small breakout groups led by youth leaders. Sunday’s Cool is currently one of the highest attended programs the StoneBridge Youth Department offers.
The Root complements the Saturday night 5:30PM worship service, meeting Saturday nights from 5:30-6:45 pm (unless otherwise noted). At The Root students have the opportunity to build relationships by participating in games and diving into the Bible.
Service Projects and Mission Trips
Junior High School students are introduced to missions through local service projects, partnering with the rest of StoneBridge’s community and through World Vision's 30 Hour Famine.
Special Events
Special Events include trips to amusement parks, Forest Home Winter Camp, digi photo scavenger hunts, The Amazing Race, broom ball and more.

Restoration takes place on Sunday evenings at StoneBridge, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Restoration is specifically designed to engage high school students in God’s Word.
Growth Groups typically meet in homes on their own schedules. Our groups provide a more intimate setting for developing deeper faith and friendships, discussing scripture and receiving personal support.
The Senior Seminar is designed specifically for high school seniors. Not sure where you’ll be in a year? Join with other seniors to discuss your anxieties, your hopes after high school, and what it looks like to be a Christian in college. Even if you don’t have plans to immediately attend college, life after high school is going to look different as you enter the world of adulthood.
Based on the sticky faith research and curriculum developed by Fuller Youth Institute, we’ll be meeting once a month over the course of the academic year to study and prepare students for graduation. We are here to support and help high school students as they look beyond graduation.
Service Projects and Mission Trips
Senior High students participate in local service projects, urban plunges to inner city LA and San Francisco, mission trips to Mexico and IMPACT.
Special Events include summer camp outs, trips to amusement parks, Forest Home Winter Camp, digi photo scavenger hunts, The Amazing Race, broom ball and more.

College life and adulthood are filled with times of transition. At StoneBridge we recognize the need to set aside time to meet together with members of the community who are facing similar life changes. College students and young adults meet on Sundays, 5:00pm-6:15pm for dinner and small group study.
Confirmation is a ten week series of educational experiences designed specifically for students who are transitioning into the StoneBridge Junior High Group. Some of the subjects addressed are: What is the church? What is my role within the church? What is the Trinity? What are the sacraments of communion and baptism and what do they mean?
Through Confirmation 101, middle school students will be able to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and grow deeper in their relationship with God. At the conclusion of the class, students will be given the option to join StoneBridge as a member. Put another way, students have the opportunity to “confirm” the Christian faith in which they have been raised.
StoneBridge concludes Confirmation Class 101 with an over night retreat. The confirmation retreat is a continuation of the learning experience focusing on Ephesians 6:10-18 which discusses “the armor of God.” This passage provides a strong foundation from which students can become equipped to face the challenges of adolescence.
Meeting one evening a week, Confirmation is offered every Fall.

If your teenager is active in or plans on participating in Youth Ministry at StoneBridge Church, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be a positive influence in their spiritual growth. As unique and significant as our role is in the life of your teen, we recognize that you, the parent, are the number one influence in your teen’s life in regard to their spiritual growth.
Because your role as parent and our role as a youth ministry are important yet distinct, it's vital that the StoneBridge youth department maintain open lines of communication with you. Please contact us with any questions or suggestions you might have as to how we can better serve you. If you are going through struggles with your son or daughter, we would be especially honored to join you in the process of encouraging your student towards spiritual growth and maturity. While we’re a growing church and a growing youth group, our hope is that you'll receive the individual attention you and your teen need.
Our youth department offers a variety of activities––from large-group special events to home-based small groups––to give your teen an entry point based on his or her personality style and comfort level.
If you’re a parent who is trying to get your son or daughter connected, we’d like to help. I promise (1) we'll have one of our leaders call and/or write your teen with a personal invitation to one of our events. We’ll also (2) work hard to make connections with students they may already know from their school.
In order to provide for your teen's safety and well being, students participating in StoneBridge youth events are asked to read and sign a Student Code of Conduct with their parents. Additionally, parents are asked to fill out a Parental Consent Form before your student participates in any off campus youth trips.
