StoneBridge Community Church

Confirmation Class 101 is a six week series of educational experiences designed specifically for students who are transitioning into the StoneBridge Junior High Group. Some of the subjects addressed are: What is the church? What is my role within the church? What is the Trinity? What are the sacraments of communion and baptism and what do they mean?

Through Confirmation 101, middle school students will be able to explore the Christian faith, ask questions, grow deeper in their relationship with God and, at the conclusion of the class, be given the choice of becoming a member of StoneBridge. Put another way, students have the opportunity to “confirm” the Christian faith in which they have been raised.

StoneBridge Church concludes Confirmation Class 101 with an over night X-Stream Retreat. The X-Stream Retreat is a continuation of the learning experience focusing on Ephesians 6:10-18 which discusses “the armor of God.” This passage provides a strong foundation from which students can become equipped to face the challenges of adolescence.

Meeting one evening a week, Confirmation Class 101 is offered every Fall.
